contrast improved (I need new pencils); arm finished; shell-met shape changed; more textures; pendulous dugs retained (sorry)
Well, I think I'm going to run with this design; I'll probably retract the facial extension a little, but the creature design works for me. Next step: underpainting.
This is so unbelievably badass. I love it. The only thing that I was thinking of mentioning on the first version of " study 2" was that I missed some of the awesome texture you had in the first, but you've put it back, and I have no suggestions. The whole thing is absolutely spot on.

Your attention to detail in all aspects is incredible here: both in the obvious texture and shading, as well as anatomy, but also in more subtle things like center of gravity and posture.
What is this for? Do you do this professionally or do you just do professional-grade work for fun?
Phil, I cut mats and build picture frames at a frameshop; I've been paid for art about four times in my life. Seriously, this is all a labor of love (or catharsis).

i comment because i think your art is worthy of being critiqued. not cos i whore myself. not cos i care about being returned the favor. cos *you* deserve it. get it through your heads. if you think i deserve something, thats cool too.
Interesting creature design here. I would love to see this in colors, it will add a lot of characteristic to this crazy being. Part worm and alien to me. Good work.
Even unfinished this work is great, even without limbs the god is correct, perhaps even more "realistic" because more inhuman. Great work !

I'd like to show you some awesome nature related work from more or less unknown artists which deserve more attention - this is a must see, you won't regret it!!!

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
