I was just browsing through my old favorites and re-found this image. I still love it after a couple of years. Fantastic detail, good technique. I especially love his skin-tone.

Good work on the metals, horsehair and flesh... and the column details too.

I particularly like the treatment of the nostrils... always difficult with the central eye.

Speaking of which, this guy must be some kind of relation...

I did a double take when I saw this.

The thing that impressed me most is the nose. I often wonder how it's supposed to be drawn with a cyclops. I guess you showed me. :]

Wow! He's beautiful!
You didn't do the stereotypical cyclopean face and I love the dark brown skin. I also really enjoy how you made the helmet while keeping his one eye in mind. Excellent job.

I would, however, like to see the hand that's holding the helmet. It rather looks like it's attached to his chest in the position it's in.

Oooh! Amazing! Y'know, they're uncovering evidence on the island of Samos between Greece and Turkey that Cyclops may have actually been first inspired the Mastodont skulls found. 'Twas interesting on tv. ^_^
