Welcome and Hello
I purged about 50% of my deviantWatch this morning, eliminating both dead accounts and those artists whose work had ceased to either inspire or interest me.
I then checked the watchlists, friendlists and favourites of those remaining and doubled my deviantWatch back up to the original number.
It is time for a change, and I'm hoping some new inspiration and drive will follow.

Quite literally, I am where I am today because of deviantART.
In return, I've been absent and thankless for at least two years. This will change.
Whence the Journey Begins
It's as official as it will ever be: Friday, December 21st is my final day at my 9-to-5 job.
As of January 1, I'm a self-employed professional artist and private art teacher. I've been teaching and preparing myself for the transition for several months.
Here is where the true test of all my capacities begins.

Sorry to intrude, but I came here through the "Random Deviant" button. And it seems that that button, is now only taking everyone to deviants that are here for 8 years, mostly.
Sometimes 9 years, and sometimes 7. But mostly people that are here for 8 years.
I've come to your page 2 times in one minute through that button, so I think lots of other people have been on your page, too, because of the random deviant button.
